Richard L. Venable possesses close to 40 years of legal experience and serves as Of Counsel to The Vida Law Firm, PLLC.  Ric was certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in consumer bankruptcy law until he semi-retired in 2017, and he currently focuses his practice on both consumer and business bankruptcy matters.  Before entering private practice in 1985, he served as a military and government lawyer for the U.S. Army and later as an administrative judge for the U.S. Army.  His extensive knowledge has led to his being invited to speak at numerous bankruptcy seminars.
